Good morning, good afternoon, good evening! Wherever you are in the world, join us as we cover the highs and lows of Summer Game Fest 2022.
Will God of War Ragnarok finally get a release date? Will Hideo Kojima make an appearance? Will Geoff Keighley be wearing outrageously snazzy trainers? Stay tuned, we’ve got you covered!
That's the end of the show, Tom - you've not missed anything! Well, it's been an interesting one for sure. Thanks for joining us! We'll be back with a news roundup tomorrow as usual.
Cheers,
Joe.
I'm afraid I'm going to have to sign off. This was a lot of fun, Joe, and we should do it again! I look forward to reading about whatever huge bombshell will inevitably drop as soon as I turn my laptop off.
The trailer for The Last of Us Part I looks very familiar; not just because it leaked earlier today, but also because this remake appears to be staying incredibly faithful to the original 2013 game.
Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson - the OG Joel and Ellie - will be appearing in small roles in HBO's The Last of Us TV series. That's cool!
Yeah it looks much bigger than Factions Tom as you say. Here's our first look (I'm here for it):
It sounds like the scope of Factions has become much, much bigger.
Holy shit a new standalone TLOU multiplayer title?!
Keighley and Neill Druckmann are joshing about the Last of Us leak, but they've also teased that not everything has leaked... might we see something else from Naughty Dog today? The Factions multiplayer spin-off, maybe?
Ah, now I can see myself trying out Gotham Knights. I'm not crazy about the idea of a Batman game without Batman but if the combat feels anything like the Arkham series, this should be a good time.
I've got a sinking feeling that the big reveal to end the show will be... the very same The Last of Us trailer that leaked hours ago!
